Privacy Policy
How the current offline version of Mood Tracking handles your information.
Who is responsible
Mood Tracking is provided by Digi Craft Studio, a GST-registered sole proprietorship in India ("we", "us" or "our").
For privacy questions, email support@digicraftstudio.in. Our business contact address is S-04, Regus, PPR Mall 5th Floor, Urban Estate Phase II, Jalandhar, Punjab 144001, India.
This policy covers the Mood Tracking Android app, visits to mood.digicraftstudio.in, and information you choose to send us for support.
The short version
Your journal is stored on your device. Mood Tracking has no account, login, ads, analytics service, automatic crash-report upload or developer-operated cloud sync. We do not receive your journal through ordinary use of the app.
CSV export is optional. You choose where a separate copy is saved, which may include a cloud storage service.
Information stored on your device
• Journal entries: a record ID, your selected mood and the date and time recorded by your device. New entries use Happy or Mood Off.
• Older records: other mood types, notes and tags may remain from earlier versions. The current recording buttons do not create notes or tags.
• App preferences and export status: local information used to operate the app and show the result of an export.
• Local diagnostics: warning or error information when an operation fails. The app does not automatically send this information to us.
Mood entries and journal text may reveal personal or health-related information. Consider what you want to keep on your device. The app does not infer a diagnosis from your records.
How the app uses your information
The app uses local entries to display History, count recorded moments and dates, and create Reports. The widget shows today’s counts and records a moment when you tap its mood buttons. Export reads your stored entries to create the CSV you request.
These functions run on your device. The app has no Internet permission and does not request your location, contacts, camera, microphone or Health Connect data. Android’s document picker grants access to the export destination you choose, rather than general access to your files.
Exports and sharing
A CSV export includes every stored entry across all dates, with the columns id, timestamp, mood, note and tags. History and Reports filters do not limit the export. Timestamps use your device’s current time zone. Formula-like text may receive a leading apostrophe for spreadsheet safety; the stored journal is unchanged.
The CSV is plain text and is not encrypted or password protected by Mood Tracking. Anyone with access to the file may be able to read it. Android’s document picker can show local and cloud providers. Your selected provider may upload the file under its own privacy practices.
We do not receive a copy simply because you export. If you later send or upload it, the recipients and services you choose receive that copy. Deleting an entry in the app does not delete exported files. We do not sell your journal or use it for advertising.
Security and visibility
Your journal database is stored in Android’s app-private storage. Its protection depends on Android, your device and your device settings. Mood Tracking does not add its own database encryption, PIN or biometric lock, and does not block screenshots.
Use a device screen lock, keep your device updated and protect exported files. Someone with access to your unlocked device may be able to read the app or see widget counts. Remove the widget if you do not want those counts visible on your home screen. No storage method is secure in every circumstance.
Retention, backup and deletion
Journal entries remain in this installation until you delete them or its app data is removed. Entries do not automatically expire. Delete one entry from its menu in History. There is no undo, delete-all button, remote deletion service or certified secure-erasure feature.
Android’s Clear storage or Clear data removes this installation’s records and settings. Uninstalling normally removes app-private data too. Clearing cache is different and does not serve as a journal-deletion method. These actions can permanently lose your journal.
The app disables Android backup and excludes app storage from supported cloud-backup and device-transfer flows. Device behavior can vary, so do not rely on automatic transfer or backup. Mood Tracking has no CSV import or restore feature.
Exports, screenshots and copies held by other people or services are separate. Delete those through the relevant file manager, provider or recipient. We cannot recover or remotely erase a journal stored only on your device.
When you contact support
If you email support@digicraftstudio.in, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. The mailbox is active and personally checked regularly by the proprietor. We use your message to respond to your request and address the issue you raise.
You do not need to send a journal export for a general question. Include only the details needed to explain the problem. Hide private entries in screenshots, and do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary health information.
Our support email is hosted by Hostinger. From 11 October 2026, we use a manual retention process. For routine support matters closed on or after that date, emails and attachments are deleted within 12 months after the matter is closed. The proprietor reviews retained messages at least quarterly. We may keep relevant correspondence longer where needed for an ongoing issue or dispute, or an applicable legal requirement, and review that need. Older emails retained before this practice began will be included in the review process.
You can request access, correction or deletion of information you sent us at support@digicraftstudio.in. We may ask for limited information to verify the request and explain if any information must be retained.
Deleting correspondence from our active mailbox does not necessarily remove every provider-controlled backup immediately. Hostinger’s applicable service-retention and legal requirements govern those copies. Contact us if you want to ask about deletion of information you sent us.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can use the app without an account. You choose whether to record a moment, add the widget, export a file, open the business website or contact support. You can view, export or delete local journal entries using the controls described in this app.
Depending on where you live and the information involved, you may have privacy rights concerning information we hold, including access, correction or deletion. Send privacy requests to support@digicraftstudio.in. We cannot retrieve or change a journal that remains only on your device.
Age and intended audience
Mood Tracking is intended for adults aged 18 and over in the markets where it is offered. It is not directed to children and does not ask for a birth date or verify age.
If you have a concern about a child’s information in support correspondence, contact support@digicraftstudio.in without sending additional unnecessary personal details.
Website and external services
Tapping Built by Digi Craft Studio opens the business website in your browser. Mood Tracking does not attach journal entries, exported files or personal identifiers to the link. The browser and website may process connection information, such as your IP address, under their own privacy practices.
Google Play, Android, email services and the file provider you select operate separately from the app’s local journal. Their own terms and privacy information apply to their services.
Visiting this website
This website is hosted by Hostinger. When you visit, your browser sends technical connection and request information, such as your IP address, the page requested and the request time. Hosting systems can record this information to deliver the site, maintain reliability, investigate errors and protect against misuse.
These pages do not add advertising or analytics cookies, tracking pixels or third-party tracking scripts. Provider-level security technologies and technical records are separate from the page code. Provider-controlled logs and backup copies are handled under Hostinger’s applicable service-retention, security and legal requirements; the 12-month routine-support-email rule does not set their retention. We do not promise immediate removal of every provider-controlled copy.
Information handled through our hosting or email services may be processed outside your country. Hostinger’s Data Processing Addendum describes its processing arrangements and applicable international-transfer safeguards.
For questions or requests about information handled through this site, contact support@digicraftstudio.in. See the Hostinger Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum for the provider’s privacy and processing information.
